
Dr Stephen Bainbridge
Dr Stephen Bainbridge is a York based Chartered Clinical Psychologist working in the NHS. He is registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a full member of the Division of Clinical Psychology.
Stephen has considerable experience of working in adult mental health settings, providing psychological assessment and treatment to working age adults experiencing psychological and emotional difficulties.
Stephen started his psychology career at the University of Leeds before completing his professional clinical training at the University of Leicester. Fully trained to Doctoral level, Stephen offers assessment and psychotherapy for a range of common psychological problems including:
- Depression
- Anxiety Disorders including Phobias and Panic Problems
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Chronic Pain management
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- Self-esteem issues
- Stress
- Anger
Stephen sees people on a private basis. Individuals may refer themselves directly or be seen through a private health insurance scheme.
