Ralph Tate

BEd(Hons), HG Dip P, B Ed(Hons), LLCM, MHGI

Ralph was a secondary school teacher for many years before deciding on a career change and training as a counselor.  Ralph completed his Certificate in Counselling and also a Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis before discovering the Human Givens approach to therapy, which he found to be a wonderfully logical and practical method.  He went onto qualify as a Human Givens therapist and enjoys the challenge of helping people overcome their emotional difficulties, whether it be stress, anxiety, depression, phobias, low self-esteem, OCD, addictions, panic attacks, or trauma.

Ralph also holds a Diploma in Public Speaking and is able to offer effective help (using the Human Givens approach) to anyone fearful of public speaking and who needs practical help in building confidence to deliver a presentation to colleagues, to give a speech at a friend’s wedding, or to handle interviews more effectively.

He is a trained and accredited bereavement counselor with the necessary expertise in helping people with their bereavement issues, and has worked with many clients in this capacity over a number of years.

All session normally last 60-75 minutes, the total number of sessions being determined by the needs of each individual client.

Ralph is a member of the European Therapy Studies Institute (ETSI) and has enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) clearance.  He is passionate about Human Givens and is enthusiastic about using this effective brief therapy to help people rediscover the joy of living.

Ralph is a Registered Member of the Human Givens Institute.
