Reiki Master and practitioner

Originally brought up on the outskirts of York, I began my study of Reiki in the 1980s in the South of England, finally becoming a Reiki Master in 1998, having worked as a Reiki practitioner for several years. Reiki for me is more than a therapy - it's a way of life. Reiki has enabled me to see the world differently, and feel more in control of what happens to my life, as well as to my body and mind.

I believe in a practical, grounded approach to Reiki - candles, incense and incantations are lovely, but Reiki doesn't need these things in order to work. The most important issues are that the client is made to feel comfortable with the practitioner, and that the practitioner has a professional, responsible and caring attitude towards the client. It is in this atmosphere that Reiki can really work to bring about a sense of peace and well-being for all concerned.

I now live mainly in Brittany, France, but make regular trips back to the UK. I was thrilled to find the Clinic on the Green, and that they were happy to have me practice Reiki there! The atmosphere at the clinic is second to none, and it is a real pleasure to work there.
