Debbie qualified in Therapeutic massage in 1984, and since went on to qualify in Acupressure massage and Sports massage.
Debbie previously trained as an Operating Theatre Practitioner at Southampton Teaching Hospital and worked for the NHS for ten years, assisting both in theatre and with the patients' recovery after their operations.
Debbie became interested in Acupuncture after personally experiencing the benefits following a back problem and studied at the Northern College of Acupuncture, qualifying in March 2001 with a Post Graduate Diploma validated by the University of Wales.
Debbie’s approach incorporates both a 'Western Medicine' and 'Chinese Medicine' perspective to patients problems but is always cautious of potential undiagnosed medical conditions and will advise you to see your GP, if necessary.
For musculoskeletal problems Debbie uses a combination of massage and acupuncture. For further details on sports and therapeutic massage and acupuncture please see the relevant therapy page.
Debbie also offers Cosmetic Acupuncture, also known as ' facial rejuvenation acupuncture’, which aims to treat the skin from both the outside and the inside
