Clinical Hypnotherapy

What is Hypnotherapy?

Probably not what you think.

Hypnotherapy is a powerful therapeutic tool that deals with causes rather than symptoms. Hypnotherapy provides a non-invasive, safe method of treating a wide range of conditions. It is estimated that 85% of people in ALL age groups will readily respond.

…and  Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a deep, sleep-like state of relaxation, in which the hypnotherapist assists the recipient to focus inwardly, so that during the session, reality is unimportant. Instead the recipient experiences thoughts and feelings, sometimes fantasies and past memories. Recipients are more open to helpful suggestions based on information provided by themselves and more likely to act on these to make positive changes in their lives.

What to expect.

The first session which lasts approximately an hour and a half, includes a consultation with subsequent sessions lasting one hour. Smokers usually need just one session.

Lying or sitting in a quiet room the hypnotherapist will guide you into a trance via gentle suggestions, then deepen the trance and carry out the treatment requested, based on the information provided in your case history.

In general you will not be required to speak. The hypnotherapist does not have control over you, as inappropriate suggestions would be rejected by the mind. Client information is strictly confidential.
